Jeffrey J. Gillard graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2000, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Exercise & Sport Studies. In addition to being a 4-year member of the dean's list, he served as Vice President of Psi Chi national honors society, was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and Golden Key national honors societies, and was a head football and baseball coach at the youth and high school levels.

Mr. Gillard then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004. While in law school, he served as an editor for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly journal, volunteered at the San Francisco Employment Law Center's worker's rights clinic, and was a member of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society. He also earned the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in trial advocacy, and was a 2-year teaching assistant for Torts.

Jeff practices in the area of products liability defense and complex commercial litigation, defending manufacturers of sporting goods, automobiles and tires, among others. He is experienced in orchestrating successful litigation strategies in various civil litigation contexts from initial pleading and discovery phases to the resolution of cases through mediation, settlement and trial in State and Federal courts.
