Edward Martinovich is an experienced litigator and focuses primarily on environmental, asbestos, and other product liability issues. Mr. Martinovich has also successfully defended white collar crimes cases, building contractors in numerous construction defect lawsuits and has served as in-house counsel for a large national law firm, focusing on labor and employment issues including Title VII, California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act, and the federal Equal Pay Act. In addition to serving as second—chair trial counsel, he also resolved issues relating to California’s Rules of Professional Conduct, and has handled numerous arbitration and mediation proceedings.
Mr. Martinovich is licensed to practice law in California and New York. He was awarded numerous fellowships such as the Charles Revson Public Interest Fellowship and the Judge Bruce Wright Memorial Fellowship to work on projects with the New York chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, the New York Legal Aid Society, and the New York State Attorney General’s Office-Civil Rights Division. Mr. Martinovich ranked in the top 5% of his graduating class at the City University of New York Law School. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, from the State University of New York at Albany, with a double-major in Political Science and Criminal Justice. Mr. Martinovich is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also fluent in Serbo-Croatian.
