Matt Meyer graduated from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA, with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. Following his undergraduate work, Mr. Meyer spent nearly a decade working as a television news reporter for FOX, ABC and CBS affiliates in markets in Nebraska, Iowa and Illinois.
Mr. Meyer received his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. While in law school, he received the James L. Koley Award for his dedication to the First Amendment, was inducted into the National Order of Barristers Honor Society for his oral advocacy abilities, competed in two national trial competitions, and served as President of the Creighton chapter of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. Mr. Meyer clerked for the Sarpy County Attorney in Papillion, Nebraska and also worked directly with children at the famed Boys Town Home for Boys and Girls, teaching social skills to troubled youth.
Mr. Meyer practices in the area of products liability defense and complex commercial litigation. He is licensed to practice law in all California state courts.
