Janessa B. Chun is a corporate defense attorney specializing in products liability, premises liability, and general liability.
Ms. Chun graduated from Pepperdine University, Seaver College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Hispanic Studies. While attending Pepperdine, Ms. Chun was actively involved in the Korean Student Association and Delta Delta Delta Sorority.
While earning her Juris Doctor at Santa Clara University School of Law, Ms. Chun participated in Honors Moot Court Internal, both as a competitor and as a member of the student board. Additionally, Ms. Chun served as the Associate Managing Technical Editor of the Journal of International Law and earned her International Law Certificate with Honors.
While in law school, Ms. Chun spent the summer after her first year of law school as a Summer Associate at a corporate litigation law firm in Seoul, Korea. Later, she worked at Samsung Research America, Inc., where she facilitated all aspects of regulatory compliance and contract negotiation. She also volunteered with East Palo Alto Community Legal Services where she assisted clients in Spanish.
Prior to joining Yukevich | Cavanaugh, Ms. Chun worked as a litigation attorney at a boutique law firm specializing in complex litigation and employment law.
