Ms. Gupta then attended the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Gupta represented both affirmative and defensive asylum applicants before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services and Immigration Court. In addition, Ms. Gupta’s achievements in law school included Briefing the Ninth Circuit on the issue of an asylum applicant’s credible fear of persecution and torture.
Following graduation, Ms. Gupta has devoted her practice to complex civil litigation in a variety of matters including, but not limited to, personal injury, products liability, premise liability, insurance defense, toxic torts, environmental litigation, as well as government entity and civil rights defense.
Ms. Gupta prides herself on aggressively representing the priorities and interests of her clients from case inception to trial and has obtained favorable results. Ms. Gupta has continued her appellate practice after graduation, submitting two more briefs to the Ninth Circuit and handling appeals with the California Court of Appeal.
Ms. Gupta is admitted to practice law in California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
