She has defended individuals, businesses, and governmental entities in cases involving catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death, HOA, property management, construction defects, products liability, assault & battery, premises liability, as well as insurance coverage litigation, government tort claims, and class actions, including in arbitration and trial. Ms. Patton has prevailed on summary judgment motions in serious injury cases, and argued successfully before the California Court of Appeal.
Ms. Patton graduated from Westminster College of Salt Lake City, in 1999, with a BA in international business and a minor in French. She graduated with an MBA and a certificate in marketing from Westminster College of Salt Lake City, in 2000. Before attending law school, Ms. Patton worked in e-commerce and web data analytics. Ms. Patton graduated from Southwestern School of Law in December 2007, and was sworn in as a member of the California State Bar in June, 2008. She was sworn in as a member of the Utah State Bar in May, 2010. She is also a member of the United States District Court in the Northern District of California, Central District of California, and Central District of Utah.
Ms. Patton is a member of the Utah Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and Women’s Lawyer Association of Los Angeles.
