Andrea Plata is an associate in the Los Angeles Office. Her practice areas focus on general civil litigation.
Ms. Plata graduated from the University of California Merced with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University School of Law. She began her career as a full-time law clerk for a Los Angeles based trial firm, specializing in consumer warranty and intellectual property litigation. There, she developed substantial experience working on all phases of litigation, in both state and federal Courts. Prior to graduating from law school Ms. Plata had already second-chaired her first trial successfully, early on establishing a reputation as a tenacious and innovative advocate on behalf of her clients. The experience and familiarity Ms. Plata has acquired, in both state and federal courts, allows her to accurately and effectively provide high-level legal analysis with respect to complex procedural and strategic issues.
