Jeryl Wilford is an associate in the Walnut Creek office.
The Brooklyn-born, native of Queens, New York, Jeryl Wilford graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2011. He majored in History while working part-time and spent a summer volunteering for a nonprofit summer camp for kids in Newport News, Virginia. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Wilford earned an ABA-approved paralegal certificate from the University of California San Diego in 2014. From 2014 to 2018, Mr. Wilford held several legal and administrative roles while attending law school in the evening at San Francisco Law School’s San Diego Campus where he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence.
After earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence, Mr. Wilford worked as a case manager and loan officer for a mass torts law firm. In 2019, Mr. Wilford moved to the Bay Area to start his LL.M in Intellectual Property Law at Golden Gate University School of Law which he earned in January 2021. After earning his LL.M, Mr. Wilford worked for Golden Gate University as an assistant program director for two and a half years. In 2024, he began his career as a solo practitioner representing parents in dependency law matters under the auspices of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Dependency Representation Program. After serving the community, Mr. Wilford transitioned to complex civil litigation, employment law, medical malpractice, and toxic torts at a boutique law firm in Oakland. Mr. Wilford is currently focused on representing clients in toxic torts matters.
In his free time, Mr. Wilford loves journaling, exercise, outdoor activities, and exploring California’s coastal cities.
