Emily Williams is an associate attorney in the Los Angeles office, where she focuses her practice on products liability and premises liability. Ms. Williams brings a well-rounded perspective to her practice, with experience in both insurance defense and Plaintiff’s personal injury.
Ms. Williams graduated from Loyola Law School in 2017 within .01% of the top 20% of her class. During law school, Ms. Williams was an editor for the International and Comparative Law Review of Loyola Law School, authoring three published pieces for its Inter-American Court of Human Rights Project. Further, Ms. Williams clerked with the consumer protection divisions of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and Federal Trade Commission, and participated in her school’s Veterans Justice Clinic. In 2018, Ms. Williams attended the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates Jack Daniels Trial School.
Ms. Williams is experienced in insurance defense, with specialty on time sensitive policy limit demands and associated insurance coverage issues. Ms. Williams has authored articles on bystander claims, and insurance coverage, and has co-authored for the forthcoming 2021 Updated Edition of the DRI: Writing a Reservation of Rights: A North American Compendium: California.
Ms. Williams is a retired professional ballet dancer and, in her spare time, enjoys taking adult ballet classes, as well as spending time with her husband and their three cats.
