She obtained her BA in communication and political science from the University of California, San Diego, in 2012.

While in law school, Ms. Wong served as the chief symposia editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, where her comment, “Good Intentions, Unintended Consequences: How United States v. James Will Affect Federal Sexual Abuse Analysis,” (50 Loy. L.A. L. Rev. 149 (2017)) was published.

Ms. Wong also participated as a certified law student in the Ninth Circuit Clinic, where she briefed and argued a case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Also, during law school, she served as an extern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Civil Division and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Virginia A. Phillips of the United States District Court, Central District of California, where she prepared judicial opinions and legal memoranda regarding, inter alia, jurisdiction, attorney’s fees, and international service of process. In addition, Ms. Wong has been a law school writing tutor, a coordinator for the Young Lawyers Program, an executive board member of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and an admissions student ambassador.
