James J. Ostertag is an accomplished trial attorney with nearly 30 years of trial, litigation, an appellate experience in state and federal courts. Mr. Ostertag’s experience includes serving as national, regional, and trial counsel for clients in asbestos litigation and has been in trial defending clients in California, Washington, Hawaii, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Delaware, Maryland, and Florida.
His expertise includes developing defense strategies for national, multi-state litigation including managing outside counsel and coordinating, developing and testing trial themes. Mr. Ostertag has worked extensively with expert witnesses in complex, scientific fields relevant to toxic tort litigation. He has also been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” since 2008.
