Following his undergraduate studies at Cornell University, Michael Johnson worked as a licensed real estate agent where he negotiated the purchase and sale of commercial retail and residential properties.
Mr. Johnson then attended Loyola Law School’s Evening Division. During law school, Mr. Johnson served as a full-time law clerk for Yukevich | Cavanaugh, where he conducted extensive legal research on various issues regarding products liability, negligence, and asbestos litigation. Also during law school, Mr. Johnson served as legal extern for Judge Patti-Jo McKay, the presiding judge of the Appellate Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court. As a judicial extern, Mr. Johnson conducted legal research and drafted Wende brief determinations. Moreover, during law school Mr. Johnson served as an extern for the California Labor Commission, where he formulated assessments in cases of workplace retaliation.
