Ms. Lauricella obtained her JD, in 2009, from the Baylor University School of Law, where she excelled as a member of the ABA National Moot Court Team and served as justice (president) of Phi Alpha Delta.
As an experienced litigator, Ms. Lauricella has defended clients in California, Texas, and Louisiana; in product liability, premises liability, breach of contract and negligence actions.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Lauricella has been called upon to aid in global transactional matters by organizing the U.S. Headquarters for a U.K. Corporation, and prepare master service agreements, supplier agreements, and employment agreements.
Ms. Lauricella joined Yukevich Cavanaugh in 2018, after spending the first eight years of her career defending Fortune 100 companies from New Orleans to Houston in high stakes and often high profile matters such as In re Chinese Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Litigation, and In re Deepwater Horizon (BP oil spill).
Sophia is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, where she has lectured on the ethical use of social media, served as the young lawyer liaison for the commercial litigation committee, and co-chaired the publications committee.
