Steve Jang is an associate attorney at the downtown Los Angeles office.
Steve joins Yukevich | Cavanaugh with a wealth of diverse legal experience. Prior to joining Yukevich, Steve handled civil litigation and criminal defense cases, gaining valuable insight that he now uses to help clients in high-stakes multi-million dollar cases.
Steve received his Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School, where he also received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in White Collar Crime and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Copyright Law. In law school, Steve was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program and the Korean American Bar Association.
Steve’s first foray into the legal arena was through his externship with the Los Angeles Public Defender’s Office and Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where he conducted nearly 40 parole hearings and gained real courtroom experience. From there, Steve worked for various plaintiff’s-side civil litigation firms, practicing primarily personal injury, products liability, employment, and entertainment law.
Outside of law, Steve’s hobbies include playing basketball, golfing, creative writing, and freestyling.
