Jacquelene Marcott graduated with a BA in history and government, as well as a minor in Law and Society, from Cornell University, in 2011. She earned her JD from Southwestern Law School in 2015, and was admitted to the State Bar of California the same year.
While in law school, she served as president of Southwestern’s Phi Alph Delta Law Fraternity chapter, as well as Secretary for the Environmental Law Society. She also served as a co-director of Off-Campus Student Affairs for Southwestern’s Student Bar Association. In addition, she served as an extern with the Center for Civic Mediation, a division of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Prior to joining Yukevich | Cavanaugh, Ms. Marcott worked as an associate attorney for a state-wide defense firm representing insurance carriers, corporations, individuals, and governmental entities in all aspects of general civil litigation. She obtained favorable results for clients in numerous complex litigation matters.
She is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
