Jeffrey Caligiuri graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Caligiuri received a prestigious Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship with the California State Assembly. As an Unruh Fellow, he staffed the Assembly Labor and Employment Committee, and drafted legislation to reform state pension benefits and promote low-emission fleet vehicles. Mr. Caligiuri continued to work in the State Assembly after his Unruh Fellowship, staffing the Budget Subcommittee on Education Finance, and drafting measures to improve school nutrition and expand career technical education.
Mr. Caligiuri received his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, where he served as executive articles editor of the Journal of Law & Technology, volunteered as a certified mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court, and participated in moot court and mock trial.
Before joining Yukevich | Cavanaugh, Mr. Caligiuri worked in the Complex and Special Litigation Unit of the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, where he litigated multi-million dollar lawsuits alleging unfair competition, civil conspiracy and healthcare fraud.
