Katya Etemadieh is a corporate defense attorney in our Los Angeles office. Ms. Etemadieh earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2020 concentrating in Civil Litigation and Advocacy. During her time at Loyola, Katya served as a clinical student at the Youth Justice Education Clinic where she was responsible for all aspects of her clients’ education case and advocated for their education rights.
Throughout her time in law school, Ms. Etemadieh has clerked for multiple award winning law firms including a large personal injury and medical malpractice firm specializing in asbestos litigation, where she was able to hone her research and advocacy skills. She also interned at the Ventura County Public Defender’s office in the felony unit, and was a clerk at Yukevich | Cavanaugh for over a year.
Ms. Etemadieh graduated with honors from University of California San Diego in 2015 where she majored in Political Theory and minored in Environmental Studies. While at UC San Diego, Ms. Etemadieh served as a teacher assistant for two professors in the Environmental Studies department, led student discussion groups on the topics of environmental systems along with wilderness and human values, and was a member of the pre-law society.
Ms. Etemadieh has been with Yukevich | Cavanaugh since 2019.
During her free time, Ms. Etemadieh loves to run, acrylic paint, hike, and spend time with her cat and dog.
