Michael Mauceri graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global Studies. He received his Juris Doctor in 2016 from Emory University School of Law, where he was a member of the Emory Law Moot Court Society. Mr. Mauceri was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2016, and the District of Columbia Bar in 2020.
Prior to joining Yukevich | Cavanaugh, Mr. Mauceri was an associate with a national law firm, practicing securities, professional liability, and commercial litigation. His practice included the defense of officers and directors against a variety of claims, as well as the representation of financial institutions and their employees in complex securities violations and enforcement actions before the SEC and FINRA.
While in law school, Mr. Mauceri interned for two of the largest district attorney’s offices in the country, in Brooklyn and Atlanta. During his studies at the University of North Carolina, he worked with the United Nations in Geneva, in the Office of the Director-General, where he drafted briefs and speeches and represented the Office at UN General Assembly and World Trade Organization meetings, as well as at the 2011 UN Economic and Social Council.
