Michelle Chea is an associate in the Los Angeles office. Her practice areas include products liability defense, general negligence, and personal injury.
Ms. Chea has experience in insurance defense, specializing in law and motion, and oral arguments. She has managed first and third party personal injury claims through all phases of litigation, negotiated settlements, and successfully defended an insurance company in an uninsured motorist claim at arbitration.
Ms. Chea graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Asian American Studies in 2016, and received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine in 2019. While in law school, she was a legal intern for AT&T, Inc., and a law clerk at Southern California Edison Company. As a clinical student in the Intellectual Property, Arts, and Technology Clinic, she did copyright clearance for the documentary, Kusama: Infinity. For pro bono, she prepared declarations for self-represented victims of domestic violence and elder abuse for their Temporary Restraining Orders.
In her spare time, Ms. Chea trains Olympic-style weightlifting.
