Patrisia Vekima-Towner is an associate in the Los Angeles office. She focuses on cases involving general negligence, premises liability, and product liability.
Patrisia earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in May 2021 and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar later that year, in November 2021. Before joining Yukevich Cavanaugh in August 2025, Patrisia practiced law in Illinois, where she gained extensive experience in both plaintiff and defense civil litigation. Patrisia has experience conducting and defending depositions, settlement negotiations, and arbitration proceedings. She has also served as first-chair in several jury trials and has handled cases in every stage of litigation.
During law school, Patrisia was a member of DePaul’s Appellate Moot Court Team, where she advanced to the quarterfinals of the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition. She was awarded Order of the Barrister’s for exceptional oral advocacy performance. She was also a member of the Executive Board for DePaul’s Journal for Social Justice and externed for the Honorable Judge Diane Shelley at the Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois.
Patrisia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePaul University. She has a strong background in performing arts, including singing, piano, music composition, and musical theater. Patrisia was a founder and music director of her college acapella group, Sounds of Harmony.
Outside of her legal practice, Patrisia enjoys music and cooking West African dishes.
