Mr. Xu obtained his BA in business economics from the University of California, Irvine, in 2013.
While in law school, Mr. Xu was a production editor of the Loyola Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. He competed on Loyola Law School’s Transactional Negotiation Team, and received the Award for Best Buyer. He had the privilege of representing Loyola Law School at the XXV Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, arguing before international arbitration panels in San Diego, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong. He also served as the president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, a mentor for the Young Lawyers Program, and a student ambassador of the Career Development Center Student Advisory Board.
Prior to joining Yukevich | Cavanaugh, Mr. Xu was a law clerk at a state-wide defense firm, where he worked on construction defect, insurance, and personal injury matters. He also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Catherine E. Bauer of the United States Bankruptcy Court Central District of California.
