LOS ANGELES –James J. Yukevich and Todd A. Cavanaugh of Yukevich | Cavanaugh have been selected by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) as Top Litigators & Trial Lawyers in Los Angeles for 2019.
Each year, the LABJ selects just 50 lawyers in Los Angeles who have proven themselves to be:“a very special breed of attorney that needs to transcend expert comprehension of the legal system…attorneys who go to the proverbial mat to fight for their clients before judges and jury [and] have their own unique sets of skills.”
Some of the factors that informed the selection of Mr. Yukevich includes his over 90% win rate in contested liability cases, over 30 years of courtroom experience, and most recently, the unanimous defense verdict in favor of his client, Ferrari North America, Inc., which was handed down by jurors in under 25 minutes of deliberation.

Mr. Cavanaugh has over 20 years of experience defending the interests of manufacturers and excess insurers in cases venued in state and federal courts in over a dozen states. In his most recent win, Mr. Cavanaugh successfully defended his client Crown Equipment Corporation where, following a seven-day trial, a federal jury took fewer than 45 minutes to render a unanimous defense verdict.
