James Yukevich, Founding Partner of Yukevich | Cavanaugh, has continued to tirelessly drive efforts to support the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. This year, Jim, firm team members, and others in Jim’s circle have incredibly raised $400,000 dollars to support the Food Bank in December 2025. In the past ten years, Jim has raised over 3 million dollars and his extraordinary efforts have donated millions of meals, keeping hundreds of thousands of food-insecure families fed this holiday season. The Food Bank provides meals to more than 1.2 million Angelinos per month and notably, every dollar Jim has raised has gone directly to feeding the Los Angeles community.
Jim’s ability to continuously raise millions of dollars over the past decade for the Food Bank has earned him multiple accolades including: being listed on Los Angeles Business Journal’s “LA500: Most Influential People in LA,” earning recognition as the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2024 “Philanthropist of the Year,” and perennially receiving the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Award.”
Motivated by his upbringing and values his father bestowed on him to feed Los Angeles, Jim mobilizes those in his community to make a deeper impact. Since Jim received the Fighting Hunger, Giving Hope Award from the Food Bank in 2019, he has raised over $3 million, providing 12 million meals to underserved communities with the help of his family, friends, colleagues, fellow attorneys, and the partners and associates of Yukevich | Cavanaugh.
At Yukevich | Cavanaugh, community service is a core pillar of our practice. We are honored and proud to continue to support important organizations like the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank as we strive to improve our communities. Congratulations to Jim and the Yukevich | Cavanaugh team on their incredible impact!
